The labret is essentially a barbell with one side threadable and the other in the shape of a flat disc. The flat part of the labret serves as a stop on one side of the bore and the front part is where the spare parts are placed.
The labrets are perfect for a variety of piercings such as: the Madonna piercing (in the center, sides or under the lips), for the ears and could even be used for the tongue. You can choose from a wide variety of sizes. These can be in 16G and 14G and lengths ranging from 6 mm to 14 mm. This piece is made of the highest quality titanium.
Each piece is made of the highest quality titanium. Titanium is a light metal with excellent strength, three times more than steel, but it is much lighter. It does not cause irritation, allergies or discoloration of the skin, as it is a hypoallergenic material and has a minimal level of rejection: if the customer suffers from irritation when wearing jewelry, titanium may be the right solution.
Titanium is used in jewelry because it does not break or bend (unless it is very thin). Another positive aspect: it is not damaged by seawater or chlorine from the swimming pool. Therefore, it is no coincidence that professional banders recommend it and use it as the main material for their piercings and when piercing.

Labrets piercing sizes
It is very important to get the size of the piercing right, especially if you wear it in the lip. It is not advisable for it to be too long, as it can become a nuisance in the mouth, and even be bitten on occasion. Make sure you know the measurements of your jewelry. If you need a hand with the measurements you can consult your specialist.
Where can we use the labrets?
They may be a little more difficult to place, but smaller labrets make a good nose piercing.
If you get a longer labret stud, it may be suitable as a shell piercing, as long as it is not too tight.
The flat back of the labret studs makes them especially comfortable for swallow piercings, as they do not get in the way of headphones or hats.
Again, the flat rear is actually very comfortable compared to the usual bulky rear heels of an earring.
Finally, the flat back is again the reason why labrets can be a great helix piercing. The piercing does not dig into the side of the head like bulkier jewelry.
Aftercare of a Labret.
No matter what type of piercing you get, you must take proper care of your labret piercing wherever it is. This is especially important if you are trying a new material such as surgical steel.
Labret internal threading.
As opposed to the standard thread, here the decorative balls are threaded onto the shaft. The lack of appendage at the top makes the shaft a little easier to insert.
